Dale Griffin, drummer for British glam-rockers Mott the Hoople, has died aged 67

Now Dale Griffin of Mott the Hoople has died. He passed on January 17. He was 67.

Griffin was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease a decade ago. Mott the Hoople had their biggest hit with “All the Young Dudes” written by David Bowie who we lost January 10th.

After the band broke up in the mid-70 Griffin became a producer for BBC live music working with Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and Pulp. – by John Beaudin
